Another Little Hole

(((( I had a real real nice picture to show you diane, but blogger won't work, so we have to wait. Just read.))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

I actually cannot believe that it's Friday. Having said that - thank god it's fffffa fa fa friday.
Of course, nothing too much to do tonight, a little too much to do tomorrow night.
sounding off:

  • James Frey. I don't know what to think. To be honest, all this media, and i still love the book. I don't care, no matter how many times Orka flips flops on this one. I think it was a good book, i read it and wasnt' thinking that the entire thing was true. I dont' know. I just can't see his poor face on tv looking like he wants to kill himself anymore. I wonder if Oprah is making a stink about it too because she can get $$$ out of this publicity?
  • Aqualung. Good shite my friend. Try it out.
  • Am reading a new book by the name of Prep. About teenage girls in a Boarding School. I LOVE IT.
  • Aveda products. Love them, love the way they smell. THe hair products make my head look like it hasn't been washed in two months. Greasy. But i love it, so i use it. STUPID GIRLS.
  • I cannot access YOUTUBE.COM from my worksite and it's making me feel deprived and upset. Very upset. I tried to watch a clip from wicked and cannot do it from here. I hate it.
  • Running. It's good. Real good. But my groin feels like it's being stretched for a new body part to be inserted up in there. Ouch hooker.
  • I have decided to change. Yes i have. If i see someone who i see on a daily basis, and dont' ever say hi, even if i don't know them...i am going to say hi anyway. to be friendly. Its ridiculous to not acknowledge that we are all part of a small community in this city. Philly. Philly. Silly. Kevin says hi to anyone, and it makes me jealous. So there.

chaperone

Picture = Patrick Wilson ? who was in Angels in America and lots of Broadway stuff....movie of Phantom of the Opera and other things...this is from his new movie, Hard Candy. Can't link to it because it takes way too much energy to put links in this thing....stupid old computer tricks. I think he's, pleasing to look at. Hard Candy indeed.

Kevin: Did you get the emails from Chris about this Saturday night?
Nate: Yes I did, and I am not going out alll night again.
Kevin: Can i go? with a chaperone?

Oh- let's breath for a minute and talk about the events of our lives since the last post...

ok, we're done now.

Nothing really to report, some slipped footing, some slops which have turned me on my arse, but in general...it's ok. All is good.
Work has been overwhelming and are my ravenous reading habits. I am really into reading right now (The Line Of Beauty, Night), escapism you might charge me with, and i wouldn't deny it. Nor could you deny the 7 pound weight increase.
So - I got back on track, am back on track i should say.
Since last year when I ran the Broad Street Run, i sorta slacked off, i kept it up halfway through summer, but since mid July I stopped running. I noticed a muscle gain (i kept working out). But also a blubber gain......and now don't know what to do, i feel more solid in places like my chest, arms and shoulders.
But continue to look 4 months pregnant.
Anyway - was in a slump mentally and decided to start running again. only twice a week right now, plan on running the race again in May (april?) and will increase the running the closer it comes to that time...it felt good and cathartic.
I also got my hair cut. Which felt good. And clean.
I am clean.
I am nice.
I am out a here.
love ya love ya.

Disclaimer: I cannot spell or conform to grammeristic rules (grammeristic..te he he) so bugger off.

my life is brilliant, my love is pure

The Bomb. Period.

So for today. Whats the news? So much news, so much stuff. And i can't seem to think of any of it, other than.....it's frickin friday buttercup, and i am soooo so so so happy to be able to do nothing this weekend. Just relax, kick back, maybe go buy a new book and cuddle with it.
reading is fundamental. it stimulates the brain to think in a critical way, and i like that. alot.
My pulse quickens when i think of going to see wicked on february 9th. i cannot wait. we will have a nice time and a fun time and i will be happy.

After only a month and a half of seriously looking for a roomate, we got one. He is young and all, but really seems like a good match. If he agrees to walk noah when we go out of town, well, then we'll know that he's truly a good fit.
tststststs

I want to go to the movies today, again. I am in a movie state of mind man. Match Point looks interesting, saw Geisha the other night and loved it. Beautiful.

At the Roxy - so many types of men there - I mean, yeah i have been there before and yeah i have been to fire island and ptown and montreal and dc and south beach and blah blah blah....but on new year's eve....i just....oh i don't know. it brought new meaning to developing a more intense fitness resolution. pathetic.

I have to tell you a secret.
i am obsessing over whether or not to get my hair cut. I just can't stop. i was trying to grow it out, but feel sooooo plain with the way it is right now. I don't know what to do.
its in my every thought. help help help.
shorter hair is always so much more clean and....nice..........................................................

love,
bumshover.

brighter than sunshine

Happy New Year everyone. First, really quickly, the picture to the right is from my high school bud Marisha, she and her man were in Peru for three weeks, the highlights are really good, but this picture is perhaps the most frightening one yet. A hairless dog. What?

Anyway, in the new year, i am glad not to be him, or her, looks like she has some teets.

The only thing i can say right now is that the new year is full of surprises. Can't believe it. My biggest problem is not the outcome of the evening at Roxy. Rather it was a good night, really fun, sketchy at the least, but fun. It's been rough since being back though. Who knew? Who frickin knew?
