Fibroadnexal Hamartoma

The vet called yesterday. Noah had a Fibroadnexal Hamartoma, which was and is not cancerous. Against all odds, I mean for real....he is going to be fine and we cannot believe it. JUST CAN"T believe it. Thank you for the well wishes or whatever you all did. This little sucker is a trooper and will prolly out live all of us !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi, happened across your page when I googled Fibroadnexal Hamartona. 2 weeks ago found the craziest looking mass on my dog, this past Monday it was taken off. Just found out today that it was benign (whew!) and what it was called. Any pictures I have seen of them however, look nothing what my Dimitri had. What did your dogs' mass look like? And did your vet have any clues why he got it? In any case, he's going to be just fine, glad your dog will be too! We may need some healing time (haha)from the bruises on our legs from his gigantic cone though! He is a Leonberger, and this cone could clear a room with one swoop. Anyways, had to post something since we just went through this too. Have a great day!
